Roblox Parental Controls: A Complete Guide for Parents

To use Roblox parental controls, you first need to connect your own Roblox account to your child's account.

Step 1: Open Roblox Settings

Sign in to your child's Roblox account.

On desktop:

Click the gear icon → Settings

On mobile:

Tap More → Settings

Step 2: Open Parental Controls

Select:

Settings → Parental Controls

Step 3: Add a Parent

Restricted

May include stronger violence, heavier realistic blood, strong language, alcohol references, romantic themes and other mature content.

For younger children, parents may prefer to start with a lower maturity level and increase access gradually when appropriate.

Parents can block specific Roblox experiences even if they would normally be allowed under the child's content maturity setting.

Walkthrough

Go to:

Settings → Parental Controls → Select Your Child

Content Restrictions

Blocked Games

Search for the Roblox experience you want to block.

Select the game and choose:

Block

This is useful if there is a specific Roblox game you do not want your child accessing.
